Hotel Borobudur Jakarta Distributes Qurban Animals to Fostered Communities in Central Jakarta

In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta together with Artha Graha Peduli once again carried out a qurban distribution initiative as a form of social care and solidarity for fostered communities and residents in need across various areas in Central Jakarta. This activity is part of Artha Graha Peduli’s annual social initiative alongside business units under the Artha Graha Network, which is conducted simultaneously across Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke.

Hotel Borobudur Jakarta took part by distributing dozens of qurban animals consisting of cows and goats to fostered communities and residents in need throughout Central Jakarta. The initiative also received support and participation from Jakarta International Hotels & Development as part of the spirit of togetherness during Eid al-Adha.

The activity involved active participation from the local community and employees of Hotel Borobudur Jakarta throughout the preparation and distribution process, reflecting the values of mutual cooperation and social care toward surrounding communities. The distribution was carried out to fostered communities, mosques around the business unit area, TNI-Polri, as well as various communities and stakeholders across several areas in Central Jakarta, ensuring the benefits of qurban could be shared more widely with beneficiaries, particularly underprivileged communities, low-income families, and areas requiring social support. All qurban animals distributed had also undergone health inspections in accordance with applicable standards prior to distribution.

Yolla Elvin, PIC of the Eid al-Adha activity at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, stated that Eid al-Adha serves as an important reminder of the values of sincerity, sacrifice, and social solidarity.

“We believe that Eid al-Adha is not only a religious occasion, but also an opportunity to share and create meaningful impact for the community. Through this activity, we hope the spirit of togetherness and social care can continue to grow within the surrounding community,” said Yolla Elvin.

She added that this activity also serves as part of the effort to strengthen the relationship between the company, employees, and the community through the spirit of togetherness and social care that continues to be upheld every year.

Through this qurban initiative, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta together with Artha Graha Peduli continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering sustainable social programs that create positive impact for the community.
