Jakarta, 22 February 2025 – In celebration of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan 2025, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta proudly presents “Discover Timeless Harmony,” a month-long celebration designed to unite tradition, creativity, and the spirit of togetherness. Running from 24 February to 15 April 2025, this special program features a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities across the hotel.
Held in collaboration with Strategic Partners of the Ministry of Creative Economy Agency, and supported by Istiqlal, Voice of Istiqlal, and the Forum Pembauran Kebangsaan, this initiative reflects Hotel Borobudur Jakarta’s commitment to creating meaningful and sustainable Ramadan experiences. Through a curated series of cultural showcases, performances, and exhibitions, the program invites guests to embrace the warmth and beauty of Ramadan in an atmosphere filled with harmony.
As part of the program, guests are invited to enjoy an array of engaging activities including a Ramadan Bazaar, featuring local MSME products showcased at both indoor and outdoor booths organized by the Strategic Partners of the Ministry of Creative Economy Agency. The celebration will also feature Nasyid performances, Ramadan entertainment, and the Ramadan Festive series held every Saturday at the Borobudur Backyard.
In addition, there will be interactive competitions such as Gema Ramadan – Ajang Kreasi Islami on 8 and 22 March 2025, a Ramadan Photo Contest, and Ramadan Kids Activities specially designed for children. Guests can also participate in various games and door prize draws, adding to the vibrant Ramadan atmosphere throughout Hotel Borobudur Jakarta. The hotel will also be adorned with festive decorations, offering plenty of picturesque photo spots for guests to capture memorable moments during the holy month.
This year’s Ramadan celebration holds even greater significance as it coincides with the 51st Anniversary of Hotel Borobudur Jakarta on 23 March 2025. From 11:00 to 20:00, the hotel, in collaboration with the Forum Pembauran Kebangsaan, will host a special celebration across Flores and Timor Ballroom, featuring a series of meaningful events such as a short sermon (kultum), iftar with 51 orphans, Ramadan talk show, dance and fashion performances, tumpeng cutting ceremony, and other festive entertainment.
The anniversary celebration will also feature 59 MSME booths presented by the Strategic Partners of the Ministry of Creative Economy Agency and the Forum Pembauran Kebangsaan, showcasing a variety of culinary delights, crafts, fashion items, and traditional textiles inspired by Ramadan. On this special day, guests can also enjoy exclusive promotions including a special IDR 51,000++ menu at Teratai and Miyama restaurants, as well as 50% off on bread, cakes, and pastries at Borobudur Gourmet.
